Services
I am an expert on the taxonomy of Chironomidae or non-biting midges and offers services in the identification of larvae and pupae of Chironomidae. I am proficient at identifying specimens in alcohol and on slides and I am skilled at slide mounting specimens for temporary or permanent storage and identification. Data resulting from identifications as well as summary analyses are available upon request.
Experience
I have worked with the Kansas Biological Survey, Rhithron Associates, and am currently working with Aquatic Biology Associates as well as on my own consulting. I have identified chironomids from all over the United States and from parts of Mongolia, Australia, and Panama.
